$22,000 – Elk Grove, CA:

“I have a rare 1963 230sl Euro version (Italy). Car is registered as 1965, for import reasons. Car is currently registered, and driven few miles on weekends. Started restoration 4-5 years ago, but never finished. Motor runs great! Had approximately 4k in repairs done. receipts available. Car will need complete restoration, but runs good! Lots of work done: new radiator, injectors, hoses, belts, gas tank restoration, new fuel pump, etc. Gas gauge not working. Interior has poor restoration, using cheap fabrics, floors poorly patched and will need to be replaced, including the rear truck. Shock towers, frame are in good shape, rockers are rusty, will need little repair. Overall body is very strait! Good lines and gaps. Have a hard top, but will also need restoration. Hood is not on car, due to one side of the hood hinge that will need repair. Also trunk hinge left-side will need repair, including the driver side door hinge latch. Suspension is tight, ride is smooth, new tires less that 50 miles, 2 sets of wheels, including caps, rings, orig. restorable grill, (new grill just purchased for $2,500, will be sold separately). Overall this is a good running project, will bring 40-60k when restored. PS No, I don’t need help selling.
