“Had some great adventures with the car but time to pass on to another rallycross enthusiast. Vehicle is very “analogue” (stick, simple AWD system, moderate power, actual hand-brake, fuse pulled on ABS so you can slide, easy left-foot braking, etc.) so an excellent vehicle to practice the basics of off-road driving like Rallycross. Currently set up for Prepared AWD classification with more mods to be done that will keep the car within the class.
`Street legal and has passed California smog checks since I installed a new cat in 2014. Has new all-season tires, new hoses, belts, new plugs and wires, and a new main radiator. Aftermarket upgrades including 4-point harnesses, bigger wheels, Brembo brakes, steel braided brake lines, Koni adjustable suspension, and a 2Bennett built shortblock with installed upgraded fuel injector parts. Car has a few miles (237K but odo broken) but engine has less than 100K. Just changed the oil and it has a full tank of gas.
Sale includes original wheels and brakes, a small GPS, Tyredog air pressure sensors, hard to find repair manuals, and all records. 5-cylinder engine hums like a true rally car.
Only things wrong are that the odo and tachometer stopped working as did both temp gauges. A/C doesn’t work but heat is great. A few interior panels are loose. Fog lights were cracked so removed (but included). Cosmetic sun damage to the roof. Passenger window sometimes fights you going up and down so needs adjustment.
