“1973 Triumph Stag Mk 2. 3 owner car. Stag is in its original colour Mimosa yellow. Stag engine was replaced with a 1997 Chevy LT1 Impala SS engine with new Turbo 350 transmission. The engine has a total of 18,000 miles and transmission has 8300 miles. Rear axle is a Richard Lane Conversion using a BMW 5 series Axle. Front disk brakes are also from a 5 series BMW. The conversion was done by Stag Engineering in Tampa by the second owner who was a surgeon at Tampa General. In the last month the petrol tank was cleaned and coated with red coat sealer, the rear brakes have new calipers, springs, and brake cylinders. New battery and and electric fan. Interior is all original and looks brilliant. This Stag has more than 2 times the horse power of the original triumph motor without the overheating problems.Will cruise all day long at 100 MPH. Cheap maintenance with the LT1.
