$10,000 – Livermore, CA:
“Entertaining the idea of selling or trading my 1jz swapped mx83. Will let go for the right deal. Car is solid, runs very well, drives great, feels awesome. Very pleasing. Turn key swap. Turns on, no issues. Doesn’t leak a drop of oil. I’ve daily driven this car for about 4 years and have put just under 40k miles on it in that time frame. I have had 0 issues with anything on this car and stand by stating 100% that this car is reliable. Very well put together vehicle.
Starting off
Chassis is a 91 kouki mx83 with 190k on the odometer. Frame is straight, never been crashed. Body is decent shape, not perfect but anyone seriously looking at this car will understand it’s not a perfect car. It’s meant to be a fun car to drive and enjoy, not to be the prettiest. If your expecting show quality or perfection, keep it moving.
Car needs paint, front fenders are not pretty. Was planning on making my own fenders, never got to it. Structurally solid.
Cracked dash. No back seats but otherwise all interior is there. I have a spare dash that will be included if asking price is met.Onto the logistics.
Bone stock Jzx110/jzs171 1jz vvti. Drive by wire.
I have noticed not much of any difference between dbw and mechanical setups. Have driven both. Most are concerned with this as it can be intimidating to set up.
No real idea on how many miles are on the engine. Engine has solid compression across all 6 cylinders.
-panic wire 1jz vvti dbw-x8 rework pro wiring harness.
-cx racing 3″ intercooler and cx2
racing piping.
-stock boost
-3″ straight through exhaust from turbo elbow back to magnflow muffler. Sounds amazing.
-xcessive stainless steel power steering pump-rack line.
-600* rated power steering hoses to prevent any sweating
-motul dexron 3 atf always used in pump. Gte pumps require this.
-Have used shell rotella t5 synthetic blend 10w30 for its time with me. Oem Toyota filter always used.
-only Toyota red full strength and distilled water used in this engine mixed to a 60/40 ratio.
-Opl x8 aluminum radiator.
-1uz fan clutch with x8 cressida blade. Car has never overheated.
-no a/c, heater blows hot.
-a/c delete with custom bracket to hold ps. Pump.
-oem motor mount brackets flipped to fit, with oem Toyota mounts for a factory feel.
-aem dry flow filter.
Recently done engine maintenance.
-oem bando timing belt
-oem Toyota vvti cam seals
-resealed valve cover baffles
-oem toyota valve cover gaskets and grommets
-oem toyota aisin 2jzgte waterpump
-oem Toyota waterpump pipe o rings
-oem toyota oil control valve solenoid and filter
-rebuilt vvti cam gear with oem Toyota seal and o-ring correctly serviced and put back together.
-oem toyota front main seal
-oem Toyota rear main seal

-oem ct15b oil feed and return gaskets and washers.

-oem Toyota/subaru maf sensor.
-oem Toyota TPS calibrated to spec.
-ngk bkr7eix plugs.
-oem Toyota 3sge/mr2 fuel filter.
-mostly new fluids.
-chevron, shell, Sunoco, or mobil 1 91 octane fuel always used. Not that we should be proud of our shitty pump gas here in california.Drivetrain.
-mk3 supra w58 with sc300 shift selector arm and shifter housing. Farthest back shifter position, perfect for x8 cressida. Sits right in center of bezel. Redline mt90 always used. No grinds, whines, noises or pop outs. Healthy trans, no issues.
-marlin crawler shifter bushings. Top and bottom.
-competition lghtened flywheel. Can’t remember weight off the top of my head.
-spec stage 3 6 puck sprung clutch for mk4 supra.
-mk3 supra oem exedy master and slave cylinder
-mk3 clutch pedal.
-excessive stainless steel clutch line.
-mk3 supra front half driveshaft mated to x8 cressida rear half. New center support bearing.
-welded diff. Will include a stock open diff as well.Suspension, wheels etc.
– bc racing type be x8 coilovers.
Can’t remember spring rates but if I recall I’d like to say 14k front 12k rears. Ride great. No issues.
-techno toy tuning roll centers adjusters.
– rear subframe has been reinforced
With xcessive reinforcement plate, and I added extra bracing on top of where the differential sits to box subframe in to add rigity. This will probably never break. Refer to pictures. All tig welded to prevent warping of subframe.
– xcessive polymer solid bushings. Act as risers and raise the subframe 12mm (about 1/2”) to correct suspension geometry. Polymer is what plastic glocks are made of. Have better properties than delrin and aluminum bushings and reduce noise transfer. Bushings and reinforcement plate alone are support to prevent cracking off the subframe. Bracing just sweetens the deal. Only corners cut are stock links and arms, and no mk3 supra differential. Was planning on running jzx81 kaaz differential. Said to hell with supra diff.
-18×9.5 +15 rpf1s all around with new continetal pro contact 225/45/18 fronts, new continental pure contact 225/40/18 rears.
-if asking price is met, I’ll include all drift spares I have.
-stock brakes at the moment but they work just fine for what the car is being used for. Recently replaced with centric rotors and powerstop pads.
-recently aligned.
–Once again, this car is solid. It drifts very well. Could use adjustable arms to take advantage of alignment capabilities and maybe z32/r33/ctsv brakes. Car is a ton of fun to drive and is very pleasing to hear and feel.
Again I am entertaining serious offers, ignoring low ballers completely. I may be interested in other jz swapped cars. Nothing sr20 please. 350z track package I may be interested in. Feel free to throw some offers my way. Worst I can say is no. Cash is king and money speaks. Willing to answer any legitimate questions or concerns reguuarding the vehicle. Apologize if I miss something just a lot of info to list and I may halve A.D.D so if you have questions, ASK.
