“For sale is a Mitsubishi GTO VR4. This is a Japanese import, right hand drive, wrin turbo (320HP), all-wheel drive, 4-wheel steering and extremely rare. The car is powered by a powerful 3.0L V6 engine paired with twin turbos and twin inter-coolers.
The car is in great shape for a car that is 27 years old. The interior is not too bad, there are some tears in the fabric but overall not bad and very comfortable seats. The car starts great, idles smooth and drives nicely. The engine is well maintaned and has had the valve-cover gaskets all removed and replaced. The brakes and rotors are all new, brake fluid bled and changed and the rear passenger CV boot was replaced. The car is mostly stock, except for an after market exhaust which sounds mean. Car was originally red and was painted black. Paint overall is good but could use a buff. Car has has two previous owners in Canada. Currently sitting on mitsubishi rims with winter tires.
Overall this is a great car mechanically. It would need a bit of work to bring up the cosmetics, mostly a buff and a nice pair of wheels. Insurance costs me 25$ a month as it is considered an antique. The right hand drive is fun to drive and defintely a head-turner. Excellent performance at an amazing price, own a piece of Mitsubishi history with this one.
