“I have decided to sell my RA40 project. I was building it to be a knock around track car. Has dashboard, seats, and gauges, but the rest of the interior is missing. have a clean title for the car. This car would take work to get going, but would be a lot like a long wheelbase ae86. I was in the process of doing a BEAMS 3sge/ 6-speed swap in the car. Ae86 crossmember used to mount the engine in the car. It has also been converted to manual rack and pinion. Used Xcessive manufacturing motor mount brackets, and have the Xcessive manufacturing transmission crossmember. Although they aren’t pictured, I have the front and rear lamps, front bumper and grille, and a windshield (but it is cracked). The rest of the glass is still in the car. I am firm on the asking price of $1500, as you would be essentially buying the beams motor-set, and clutch kit, and get a car with the deal. I do like this car, you do not see them very often, but have decided that I want to get something easier to restore. If you wanted to get the car running, you would need to get a driveshaft, wiring conversion harness, and finish repairing some of the rusted spots, but the steering conversion is already done, and that is the most complicated part to make. I am not interested in trades, so please do not offer to do so, I do not need help selling it, and because I know someone is going to ask, the car neither runs nor drives.
