“Mechanic special! Car needs balance shaft delete kit done, common problem on these evos. I have all the parts, including a new timing gear and timing belt. Car runs but will need to be towed. I’m not a car guy, don’t know much about these evos, I got this car in a trade, and just don’t have a use for it. This thing is built though and hauls ass.
The car is tuned by Gary Bain’s dual mapped on 91/e85 and puts down 383whp on e85 and 335whp on 91. The head and transfer case were rebuilt at 140k and the timing belt, water pump, and coil on plug kit with NGK spark plugs were done at 170k by a local Evo mechanic. Recently installed a new walboro 255 fuel pump last month. I have kept up with the maintenance on the car as well. The paint on the car is good and the body is straight, needs a few trim pieces.
