“Hi all,
-Selling a 1988 BMW 320i Right Hand Drive Touring/Wagon. As most know, this body style was never offered to the US market (only coupe or sedan), so they’re rather hard to come by in the states. Commonly when you do see them for sale, they’re rather expensive due to their rarity. This one however is what I believe to be the cheapest e30 touring ever sold in the US.
-I imported this vehicle as a *project*, but as it made its voyage to the US I slowly realized I had absolutely no room for it as I have another project going at the same time. So, this car has is now up for grabs.
-This is not a showroom car, nor is it a museum piece. This car was and still is meant to be driven, wrenched on, and just given some TLC. Its not perfect by absolutely any means, but its a running and driving e30 touring with a manual transmission and an m20 that fires right up. Theres hardly any rust on this car, and all the usual suspects (rear hatch, gusset vents near wiper arms, rear quarter etc) are clear of any rot. The paints faded in some spots, all of which can be easily swapped out with junkyard parts (uses E30 sedan parts). The majority of body damage is just on the hood and one fender, the rest of the car is actually super straight. Has aftermarket lowered suspension, exhaust, and I believe some diff work.
-Honestly, you have to see this car in person to get the full experience. I could write a listing 4 pages long just about this awesome little car, but lets be honest, you’d probably fall asleep midway through it. Again, this is a PROJECT car, it needs a lot of work, but its all just cosmetic.
