“Rare Honda Z600 mini-car with its original 598cc air cooled 2-cylinder engine, 4-speed manual transmission, and 10” wheels. If you are familiar with these cars you’ll know how special these are. This car also has the original paint and interior. It has always been garaged or covered in a carport.
I have owned this Z600 since 1991. I believe this Z600 has always been a Portland car. It ran just great when I purchased it. I used to drive it to work every day. After a 2-3 years I transitioned to more modern cars and stopped driving it. I’m not sure if the odometer has turned over prior to my ownership but it looks and feels like the original mileage.
The car is not rusted out. There are various small dents on the body. The seats will need replacement or re-upholstery. But overall, it’s a good foundation and condition for a car this age. Ten years ago I tuned it up and drove it around briefly but it once again sat and I have not started it since then.
I have no doubt the engine can be tuned up (spark plugs, clean carburetor, etc) and will start right up, it always has!
I would love to find a good home for this car, someone who will restore it to it’s original glory!
