“The Suzuki Cappuccino debuted in 1991 and was equipped with a turbocharged 657cc engine desired to meet Kei car specifications. The engine is mounted in a front mid-engined layout powering the rear wheels. The factory output is quoted at 63 horsepower which provides a very fun driving experience in a sub-1,600 pound vehicle. The roof is constructed in a three panel layout which allows for couple, targa top, t-top, and full on convertible configurations.
This 1991 Cappuccino is in very nice condition, both inside and out, and was well taken care of by the previous owner in Japan. The original paint shines very nicely with no fading and has no significant flaws. Similarly, the body panels are all straight with no dents, dings or rust. The front windshield has a crack but its not in the line of sight.
Inside the cabin, the leather seats are in excellent condition showing minimal wear. The dash is free of cracks and overall the interior is very nice, with the only wear on the upper door panels (due to resting your arm on the window sill). A Sony Xplode stereo and powered subwoofer have been added (to match the red/black color scheme). The turbocharged F6A engine starts right away and idles nicely. The Cappuccino accelerates without hesitation and with plenty of low end torque but really comes alive above 5k rpms all the way to its 9000 rpm redline. Shifts through the 5 speed manual transmission are super smooth and the clutch grabs well. The sole performance upgrade is an RSR front strut bar. Suspension, exhaust and intake are all stock and in great condition which make for a car that’s very comfortable to drive on the highway and really comes alive on windy back roads. Mileage is 98k km which equals 60k mi.
