“Same owner for 23 years. Original 304 V8 car with dual exhaust, floor shift auto and PS. Currently has low mileage 360 2 bbl. installed. Factory aluminum rims. Car has been driven less than 1000 miles in the last 10 years and mostly in storage but always starts right up.
?The good:
Runs and drives well.
Recent replaced radiator, windshield, new plugs/wires, volt regulator, alternator, rebuilt carburator.
Seats reupholstered in late 90’s. Material/pattern is incorrect but still nice. Carpets replaced at same time but fit is so-so. (molded carpets not available at the time)
Solid floors and underside.
Other items from last few years include: trans serviced with new filter and gasket, 4 wheel brake rebuild, front end rebuild with new ball joints, new leaf springs, ignition module replaced, 4 new tires.
The not so good:
The re-paint on the sides below the stripe is poor quality and failing. The rough spot behind drivers door is paint flaking off-not rust thru. Paint above the stripe is factory. The gold stripe is faded.
Rust has started to appear in some of the usual places. Pinholes in the rockers, with some showing around the rear wheels and one spot on the drivers door jamb. . Drivers door has significant perforation in front lower corner.
Normal dings/chips/wear on a 43 year old car.===
