“I purchased this to use as a daily driver. After I got this my desire for a Monster Truck that can take my family and dogs places has overridden my desire for a bad ass 2 seater commuter toy.
Currently this car is set up to drag. Plexiglass windows, full cage roll bar, bucket seats, with 5 piece harness. Professionally tubbed with the widest tires I’ve ever seen on a car. The front end is one unit that tilts. It has the battery and fuel cell in the trunk.
This is an all-steel car, I haven’t seen any fiberglass.
The dash looks stock, the doors have a quick release Handles in case of an accident (on the inside). Clearly a ton of money has been spent on this car to make it go fast, and protect the driver in case of an accident. If you are looking for a show car in guessing you would be more interested in a stock 1956, if you get more of a kick out of beating the pants off of someone when the light turns green, this might be Something you want to look at.
This is an ex-Alcohol Drag car with the expensive engine and trans replaced with a gas 454 and a turbo 400 trans. So I’m sure this car can handle any power you decide to put in it.
I just got the vin verified, and did all the DMV paperwork. Took it in and I have played for this car with new registration.I would be open to a partial trade. If you have super singles for a larger truck (5 ton, ten bolt I could use 4). F650/750 crew cab work truck (no bed/box needed), international 4300 or 4700 crew cab. I do have some cash to add to the right trade
I haven’t driven this car on the street yet. It has headers, but no exhaust pipes, or mufflers.
