$5,000 – McAlpin, FL:

“I bought this 1991 Mercury Capri from a lady in Texas in 2015 for $7500.00. I currently have over $10,000 invested in it. It has been mostly restored to original condition. I drove it from Texas to my home in Florida with no problems. I have had three Capris and this is the nicest one I have seen.It drives and handles very nicely. I would not hesitate to drive it across country. It has very nice paint with only a few very small blemishes which will not show in a picture. The engine was rebuilt by the preivious owner. It has a fairly new convertable top. It also has a hard top. The hard top has loose headliner.Since I live in Florida I have not had the hardtop on. It is stored overhead in my garage. I have put on new tires with less that 1000 miles on them. I have installed a new exhaust system including muffler and converter. The only things that I know that are wrong with this car are: 1.cruise controll does not work – I have not had it checked. 2.the passenger window switch does not work – it can be controled with the drivers switch. 3.The brake light switch stays on – My mechanic said that the brakes are fine it is just a switch that doesn’t work properly.
