“This is my automatic 2001 2.5 RS that I bought last year. I was going to make it something great, but I don’t have the time or the money at the moment.
I’m happy to get more pictures for anyone interested. I really don’t need to get rid of it, so my somewhat arbitrary and probably too expensive asking price of $800 is firm. I think you could part it out for much more than that. I could be wrong.
Winter tires on it are in good shape. Wheels are too.
It does run and drive. Tossed a battery in after it sat all winter and she popped off first crank. I live on back roads so a test drive is totally cool. Would also include the battery in the sale for a few more bucks.
Has some dents and scratches but everything is complete. Drivers side fender is dented. Rear passenger tail is broke. Floor pans and rockers are pretty rusty. Will need some definite metal work to become anything road / race worthy. I won’t make any promises about if it would ever be road worthy again. It does have the cooler bumper though.
Lots of potential if you’re wanting a fairly involved race car project. Or if you want to do a part out. You may be able to drive it home. I’d recommend a trailer though.
Please don’t ask how much work it needs to be legal. I don’t know. Come see it and decide for yourself.
