Great moose hunting buggy or extreme wheeler.
OM 352 diesel engine, custom heated cab, on-board air, ARB front and rear lockers, hydraulic steering (PSC Motorsports 2.5 ton Rockwell 3.0” Double End Steering Kit w/ Hi Flow Pump).
Fully registered (as a Historic vehicle); I’ve added lights, breaks, turn signals, etc.
The motor has 3,691 hours on it and I just replaced the fuel filters, power steering belt, and added a secondary fuel pump since it was hard to start after sitting for a couple of months (starts right away now). Drained and added all new fuel and treatment to clean the injectors.
It rides on standard 406 portal axles with what are referred to as slow or creeper gearing at the differential and the portal’s reduction hubs. Driving it on the road is not a problem, rides fine at about 45Mph.
I’ve owned it since 2013 (only taken it out a couple of times since then).
