This was built as a collaboration between Ford and National coach works in L.A. sold by Ford, as a competitor for the newly designed and smaller El Camino, the Ranchero was no longer being built. It started as a Fairmont Futura two door sedan. The back was removed and replaced with a fiberglass bed and tailgate, quarter panels are still Fairmont. This is a fox body platform so your options are limitless. Restore, hot rod, or build the ultimate sleeper out of it.
This car/truck is in good condition but does show its age. everything works. The driver side quarter has had some work done to it. Interior is in good shape, glass is good, tires are old and not road worthy, have all 4 matching American racing wheels but 1 is flat, it’s on the spare to roll.
