$2,200 – Loveland, CO:

“I am selling my 1988 Audi 90 Quattro. I have owned it for a bit over 2 years and am the second owner. It has been sitting for a while as I bought a new DD, but it runs and starts right up. The pics show what it looks like when it is cleaned up, right now she is covered with dust and needs a good wash, but after that it still makes me smile at how great it cleans up.

The good:

80k original miles.

Many new parts: O2 sensor, brake lines, idle sensor, idle stabilizer, spark plugs, wires, air filer, fuel filter, knock sensor, and entire 032 cooling system refresh (radiator, hoses, thermostat, expansion tank). All window switches, driver’s side window actuator. Mobil One Synthetic only for oil changes. New tranny fluid. Other stuff that I have forgotten but have written down.

The interior is about as minty as it can get. No joke. When its cleaned up (maybe an hours worth of work it is insanely clean). I have more pics but the rest looks just like you would imagine based on the one. Only small wear/tear on drivers left bolster.

The paint is deep deep tornado red. needs a clean and a wax and it shines.

Body is is very good shape except see below

The bad:

Two dents in the rockers on the passenger side from someone jacking it up wrong. This sucks when you look at how clean the car is. I found a body shop in FTC who said they could pull them and sort it out like new for $1500.00 As it is, because of the black coating, its kind of hard to notice these dents. No pics of them here.

Windshield cracked.

Suspension needs sorted asap. I have a box of 032 bushings and strut braces I will throw in if you meet my price.

An idle issue I have never been able to figure out. Just idles a bit high sometimes: 1200ish and then back down to 800.

Peppered small paint chips on nose from 30 years of life. But nothing huge.

I cannot get the coolant to purge all the air. I’ve tried and tried. If you run the AC while you drive the temp stays fine. I do not believe it has over heated because I watched the temp like a hawk. Never above 12:00.

OK. That’s it. Here is what I see. Swap the engine and sort the suspension and you have a super clean one of a kind Quattro. Fix the rocker dents and windshield and you have a bloody show car with 80k original miles. I will try to upload more interior pics when I get a chance.

Hit me up if interested. No looky-loos or lowballers. Thank you!
