$35,000 – Little Rock, AR:
“1959 PEERLESS GT: Beautifully painted in a spiral gray dark metallic silver with a very slight green tint to it. Originally the Peerless GT came with the 90HP Triumph TR3 engine and transmission. It has been replaced by a Datsun 240Z engine with a pair of DGV 32/36 Webers. The transmission is also a Datsun 240Z unit. The radiator is a custom designed 4 row cross flow unit. The exhaust now runs through the left side rocker and sounds fantastic at speed. The styling modifications to the car came from the imagination of a well known designer who spent 22 years with General Motors.
The wheels are brand new 16 inch Rota RB with new 225/50/16 Falken tires capturing the Minilite look of the period. The hood is retained by hood pins. It has power windows, Corbeau seats and dual classic Talbot mirrors. Overall the car captures the 1950s glamorous era of road going GT cars with superior performance. Approximately 325 Peerless GTs were built during 1958-59. Offered at $34900 (no trades).
