“Here is a family kept time capsule. A one family owned car from 1955-2015. I have documentation linking her from present to 1955 where she was bought used. Over the years she was well cared for, garage kept and ran each year. She is a three on the tree manual with a flathead inline 6. Her seats were reupholsered somewhere along the line from the orginal blue to a red/plaid. If I were keeping her I’d go back original. The headliner is original and in very nice shape, with no sags, stains or tears.
The brakes were recently rebuilt and the radiator has been re-cored. Minus those few things and general maintenance she is all original. The trunk liner is missing and the aftermarket wind break on the drivers door is broken. I have purchased a new water pump that will need to be installed along with a new fan belt. It last ran in December for a couple minutes. At that time it ran smooth and quiet with no smoking.
The body is fairly clean and straight, however there are a few minor blemishes and road bumps. The worst is to the front passenger fender that seems to have been drug along a garage door at some point. There are a handful of quarter or less sized dents throughout the body and a linear dent along the passenger rocker panel. Rust is minimal, mostly located around the rear wheelwells.
I have tried to document everything as best as I can via pictures. If you have questions please don’t hesitate to ask and I will try to answer them as best as I can. This car will make someone a very nice driver with minimal amounts of maintenance or be a great canidate for a simple easy restoration.
