“Selling my restored 1958 Messerschmit KR200 “Kabinenroller” 3-wheel microcar. Messerschmitts have become very desirable and hard to find in any condition — for obvious reasons. They are fun, rare and incredibly cool! This example was restored a few years ago by one of the country’s top Messerschmitt builders, and purchased from an Arizona owner. During the restoration, the car was modified to remove the plastic bubble, to recreate the look of the Messerschmitt KR 201 roadster. The conversion was very well done, with parts custom made by the Messerschmitt club of Germany. If you are watching the market, you know that “project” KR200s, requiring full restoration have been selling lately in the $25,000 range. This one is priced well below what you would have to spend to buy and restore one. The car is in operable condition (starts, runs and drives (forward and reverse), although there are a few minor details to be addressed to make it perfect.
