“A one off unique project. An Audi TT 225 BHP 4WD chassis with all the standard running gear and electrics. Grafted over the top is a Mini van body, widened and lengthened to fit the Audi chassis.
Also includes parts from many other cars (Range Rover, Discovery 4, Fiat Uno, Nissan Micra, Evoque, Audi A7 to name but a few!)
I started this project 3 years ago but changes in life and the hours required to complete it mean I’m not going to have time. Be a shame to see it go to the scrapyard.
BE WARNED! There is still a lot of work to do on this before it’s a road going car. It’s not going to be a light overhaul by any means. I think it would suit someone who has bodywork / coach building skills as it’s 90% bodywork to do.
No major mechanical or electrical work to do as it’s all standard Audi TT running gear and electrics underneath. Perhaps the odd bit of wiring to lights to convert Audi original connectors to new lamps, electric windows if you want them, central door locking could be added or carried over from original Audi parts? Up to you.
Alternatively, option B is to use it just for the Audi TT running gear. All parts in great working order. I drove the TT before it was damaged (see photo – a dear ran out in front of it) but at that moment it was in great condition and running superb. Gears all change as they should, engine starts first time and runs very sweet, all the 4WD system works as it should as well as steering, brakes, suspension etc etc. Perfect for donor parts for another TT or Golf R.
Your choice as to what you want to do with it but as I say this is no 5 minute project so not for the feint hearted!
Will need to be towed away as it’s not road worthy. But will drive onto the trailer / truck no problem. Always starts first time without any issues.
Comes complete with a STACK of spares / parts you’ll need to complete it. Lights, trim, electrical items, glazing and so on. You’ll need a Transit van to move just the boxed items alone.
Viewing recommended and ideally preferred. Please don’t just bid until you’re sure what you’re taking on….a mammoth project but one that when complete really will be a car and then some!
This has the Audi BAM turbo engine (standard 225 bhp as it is now) but these can be tuned up to the 350-400 BHP mark with off the internet components and a remap. (ECU very easily accesable on this car).
