“1991 Audi 200 Quattro 20V Turbo For Sale: $3176
Up for sale is my not quite perfect 91 200 20v turbo. I have to sell it cause I lost my garage space and having an extra car on the street in Brooklyn is about the biggest pain in the ass there is. I say the car is “not quite perfect” cause there are some things that need fixin. I bought the car in January of 2018 and thought I was just going to pull the motor and tranny. After cleaning off the 2 years of filth and neglect, I found a halfway decent car. The previous owner said the bottom end was rebuilt as well as the head. When that was done is anyone’s guess. What I do know is that there is a new timing belt and water pump on it.
The ECU has a stage II chip in it from TAP (Total Audi Performance…no longer in business). The car hauls ass.
The front brakes have been converted over to G60’s and the back brakes have new rotors and calipers.
I replaced the 3 turbo hoses with the 3 hose kit from 034 Motorsports.
The wheels are classic basket weaves and the tires are new. I have a second set of wheels and 3 snow tires for them.
It has a new cap and rotor. There is a new shifter bushing, but it’s still a little sloppy. Clutch is in great shape.
The exhaust is, well, it has an exhaust. When I got it, there wasn’t really anything from the middle of the car back. It’s reattached now and actually quite quiet on the highway. The headlights have been converted to Euro headlights from the standard ones. Three out of the 4 windows work. The central locking system works from the drivers side. Both front seats are working. Passenger seat heater works, drivers side doesn’t.
That’s the good stuff…here’s what isn’t so good. The blower motor for the heat needs a new resistor for it to blow. The A/C doesn’t work. The speedometer doesn’t work so I have no idea what kind of mileage is on this.
The coolant temp gauge doesn’t work. I bought a new Multi Function Temp Sensor but I feel that there might be a ground issue…not sure.
The paint or what some refer to as the patina is very much a 28 year old Audi. Clear coat is gone from the hood, roof, and trunk. There’s still some shine on the body panels, but you must see in person.
There are a ton of spare parts. I have a complete passenger door as well as all the parts for the drivers door too.
