“Selling my 1996 Impala SS I bought brand-new in 1996. Original owner and all original parts except for custom high-end stereo. I also have all service records and original documents and sales materials. Makes for a perfect collector car since there weren’t many made, especially in the Metallic Green-Grey color of mine, and 1996 was the final year of production and the only year with a console-mounted shifter.
Has 113,000 miles. Runs good but needs new or rebuilt transmission. Has some small scratches and dings and side body molding on each rear door needs to be replaced (I have one of them). Otherwise the body is in great shape and was never in an accident. Interior has normal wear and tear but is in good shape, although carpet probably needs replacing. Title is squeaky clean since I’ve been the only owner
Also has custom stereo with rare McIntosh 200-watt amplifier, two JL Audio 8-inch subwoofers, JL audio front and rear speakers and an updated Pioneer head unit with Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, navigation, HD Radio and more.
This will make a GREAT project car for someone who has the time to restore it to its original condition or customize it. Pristine Impala SS vehicles of this vintage are going for OVER what I paid for the car in 1996! I hate to part with it, but the time has come. 🙁
