“We are offering our Rare 1957 International Golden Jubilee Anniversary Truck for sale.. Very few of these were ever built to commemorate their 50th anniversary of the International Harvester Company. It had 2 tone Gold and White paint and a unique stepside box and special trim package. There here are less than 50 known to still exist. This truck was built May 31, 1957 for Owyhee Truck & Implement Company in Ontario Oregon, VIN #SA20604.
The truck is all original with a BD-220 6 cylinder Gas Engine, 3-speed Transmission, Chrome bumpers and grille. It also has Hydraulic Brakes, Dual Electric Horns, Dual Chrome Cowl Mirror, Custom Pickup Body with Gold (407) and White (902) Paint, Dual Electric Wipers, Tinted Glass, Heater and Defroster.
Truck runs and drives (but needs complete restoration). The brakes were recently rebuilt, seat and door panels were re-covered years ago and look nice, but are not original type fabric. The truck also had Radiator and Exhaust work done just prior to when we purchased. It has been driven less than 100 miles since. We do have the hard-to-find Stainless Steel trim strips and new tail light lens along with the hubcaps, emblems and other original parts to restore it!
Priced reduced to $7,995 as is with parts. I have found two sold in recent years with older restorations, one for $32,000 and the most recent for $52,000. This would be a great project for someone who has some free time and wants a rare truck to add to their collection.
We will includes 2 boxes of restoration parts, along with Line Setting Ticket and original Operator’s Manual and even a Leather Key holder (NOS) from Owyhee Truck and Implement Co. (original buyer).
