$2,000 – Milwaukee, WI:

“1979 celica

Bought this over a year ago but during that time i bought 2 other cars. I need space so I am selling this one.

Not fast at all pretty slow but fun to drive. Winter tires on there are pretty new. Allot of stuff replaced on the car such as control arms, all round struts, rear springs, fuel pump, GM alternator, spark plugs, spark plug wires, and a good amount of other things like a glass pack exhaust, MK1 VW lip, and some others that i for got on top of my head. The original owner replaced the rotors and breaks, battery, carburetor, and air filter. Majority of the parts replaces was oem replacements.

As for the body i did a good amount of body work to it just to have it ok but i did have plans on painting the whole car but never got around to finishing all the body work like the right fender and the driver door. most rust was only surface rust. structural integrity is still good and solid. Rockers are super good. The duct tape on the side is just to block holes from the side molding that i took off because i was planing to seal it due to the side molding warping from age.

The car runs fine in the city but does not go really fast. max speed i took it was 75 mph but i wouldn’t recommend driving constantly at that speed. Does 55 to 65 fine. it needs a carburetor tune since it was tuned for the winter time. thinking about doing it but i am very busy with school right now.
