“For sale I have a 4 door, 6 speed manual 2007 Volkswagen GTI. It has 170,xxx miles on the body but only 80,xxx on the engine. It is currently plastidipped a custom blue, but it is originally tornado red. Engine swap was done by Open Road Volkswagen in Somerville. Cars vin is also registered with APR so you can go stage1, 2, or 2+ through any APR dealer.

Has not been on a dyno but tuner guesses around 350hp/400torque

Car is very reliable, oil changes with fully synthetic every 5000 miles, cam follower changed every 10000 miles. I’ve had this car for the past 5 years, but I’m looking to get something newer. The car has served me great, and I’ve taken good care of it. Starts up no problem every time, drives great. I’m sure there are more modifications I’m forgetting.

Cons:
-Vinyl roof is starting to lift, I can redo the whole roof if the price is right
-Small spot starting to rust on hood, it started to bubble under the paint, very small though
-Normal wear and tear for a 11 year old car, no major dents/dings though
-Fog light grills do not sit flush unless you mess with them
-Occasionally the “fog light out” warning will show up but the fog lights will still work, I’m not sure why, cycling the fog lights off and on turns it off
-May have a small evap leak, got a warning for it, cleared it and it didn’t come back.

Asking 8500, a little flexible but I’m not in a rush.
