$9,500 – Appleton, WI:

“I am selling my 1952 Chevrolet 3100. This 1/2 ton short wheel base truck was originally a Pacific Bell repairman truck and comes from southern California. It is a fully operational and runs and drives great with a 216 6cyl and 3 speed column shift. The body and frame are virtually rust free. The vehicle was an older restoration and needs to be redone. The previous owner tried to strip off the paint then stopped as you can see in the pictures. The body wire harness is brand new. Other new things are 6 volt battery, rebuilt generator, voltage regulator, headlight switch, headlight dimmer switch, headlights, Brake master cylinder, wheel cylinders, speedometer gauge, hood Chrome, Dual Exhaust from the engine back (has 2 headers. I have original stovebolt), and Coker BF Goodrich Silvertown tires. I believe the engine and transmission to be original but if they were replaced they were replaced with 1952 assemblies. There is some Swiss cheese in the passenger side floor with a shotty repair. Someone welded sheet metal over the original floor after sandblasting but nothing has been cut out and hacked they just welded it over the holes. As you can see in the pictures the cab corners, cross members, parking brake section, inner and outer rockers, doors, running boards and frame are perfect. The frame where the paint is flaking off is actually like new stamped metal. The Box on the rear is the original “Ma Bell” utility box and is extremely rare especially in rust free condition. I would most likely put a regular box on it personally but it still is cool. This is an easy restoration for somebody to complete with very little welding (just small floor section) or just drive it like I’ve been. I have a clean title in my name. I am willing to take more pictures and happy to show it to people seriously interested only. Asking $9500 or best offer. Thanks. NOTE: Please put “Telephone truck” in subject line so I know you are a real person.
