“Selling my 1983 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am Daytona 25th anniversary pace car edition. The car is 1 of only 2,500 Made with a 305 Cross Fire injection experimental motor and 5 speed automatic transmission. I originally purchased the car from an on site estate auction as a result of probate court where the car was garaged since the owner’s death in 1993 with matching inspection sticker. The car has 42,019 original miles and the car shows that. The body is in overall very good condition with minor wear. There is paint cracking in the black plastic painted areas and a small ding on the drivers side door. There is no body rot and T tops are in excellent condition. Interior of the car is in great condition with minimal wear with wicked cool Recaro seats and clean dash, console, and carpet. There are no rips or tears, just needs a cleaning. The car starts up fine, however the engine has a thrown rod noise, there is a persistent knocking. The transmission is in good mechanical order but the shifter linkage is disconnected.
