“I’ve decided to sell my VW Thing- I’ve got too many vehicles. So here’s the rundown. It underwent a restoration from the previous owner several years back and was used to tow behind an RV on the weekends. Built for off-road or daily driving the streets.
Body: good paint with almost no rust, Baja front fenders (wider/taller) fiberglass that were sprayed with truck bedliner. Custom aluminum rear fenders with built in air scops to direct fresh air into motor bay. RaceTrim Beadlock wheels front and rear with Mickey Thompson Baja Pros 30″x9.5s and 33″x9.5s rear. 1.5″ tube bumpers front/rear with skid plates and roll cage. Good canvas top (has a tear or two here and there but nothing bad). Also has the window inserts front and rear. JVC stereo with USB. RaceTrim front seats and matching gray rear bench.
Motor: 1835 with T3 turbo, single Weber IDF 44, Stage 2 clutch, 4 puck, 009 dizzy, Petronix, Blue Coil, heater boxes (heat works). Set at 7psi with meth water injection. Runs good but could use some tuning.
Suspension: Front – 6″ wider beam, 1.5” longer arms, FOA remote res coil overs, drum breaks with new hardware.
Rear – 2×2 rear arms, FOA remote res coil overs, rebuilt drum breaks, new CVsI’m Not looking to trade and I don’t need help selling it.
