“1965 Mercedes Benz 220 SEb 4 Door Finback Sedan, 166K, 6 cyl, auto, dark blue (paint code 332) over parchment, new seats and carpet, same family since 1976, sold new on Jan. 25, 1965 at Daimler-Benz Aktiengesellschaft in Frankfurt, Germany to Frau Honeywell. In 1966 the odometer was replaced to 39.3K kilometers to depict miles of 27.2K in anticipation of the trip to San Francisco to serve as the West German ambassador’s personal transport. January 1975 the engine was rebuilt by MB of SF at 76K miles. Nice driver, not a perfect car, needs some cosmetics as you would expect of a 53 year old car, body very straight (Southern Arizona since 1980), some typical rocker rust behind front wheel wells, paint fair.
