1989 BMW M3 project car. Clean title and has never been in an accident. Comes with a spare engine.
This is my dream car that I was building up into a track car, but ended up never finishing.Long description:
Body/Exterior: 1989 e30 M3. Body is in good condition. Diamond Schwarz. Was resprayed 10 years ago before I parked it. Full custom roll cage welded in. Carbon fiber rear wing with adjustable flap. Front splitter. startec smoked tail lights.
Engine: S50b32 euro e36 M3 evo engine. 321HP. Carbon intake plenum. Individual throttle bodies. Accusump oil accumulator with AN10 stainless lines. I have a spare s50b32 engine that comes with the car. 5-speed ZF trans installed. I can include a spare 6-speed trans with the car.
Lightweight Aluminum flywheel with heavy duty clutch.
Exhaust: Side exit exhaust that exits through the passenger sideskirt.
Brakes: Brembo 4 piston brakes in front. Stock rebuilt calipers in rear. Dual master cylinders.
Wheels: 18” BBS RC
Interior: Fiberglass dashboard, Sparco steering wheel with quick disconnect, and Sparco seat.The car was last running in 2008. I took it to a test and tune track day, and drove it to Bimmerfest. After that, I had a great idea to install more upgrades, and then never put it back together.
The to-do list to get it driving again:
*Painless wiring harness. I was in the process of replacing the stock body harness with a race harness from Painless Wiring. Harness is included. Need to finish that install.
*Reinstall stock water pump. I was in the process of installing an electric water pump with programmable thermostat. That electric water pump is included, so either finish plumbing in the electric pump setup, or just put the stock pump/thermostat back in.
*Fuel lines. I was installing a stainless swirl pot, with dual pumps, filters and AN fuel lines. Need to finish making/installing the lines.
*Stack dash digital display included. Install it, or run analog gauges. Your call.
