“For sale is my Delica. It is legally imported with a current Washington state title and washington state plates with current tabs. It is a rare configuration and the only reason I am selling it is to replace my tow truck. Unforseen issues with the truck have forced me to put up my expedition rig.
1992 Mitsubishi Delica Starwagon. 2.5L 4 cylinder mechanical turbo diesel.
5 speed manual transmission.
4wd with auto hubs.
High roof with Crystal-Lite sunroofs. 4 sunroofs in the rear, one in frontThe van drives great and has completed trips across north america. A new cylinder head along with timing belt, water pump, seals, etc were installed in the last 20k kilometers. The injection pump was rebuilt at the same time. New tires. This Delica is a manual transmission which is very hard to find and much more reliable than an automatic transmission
The rear has been converted to a simplistic camper set up, although i do have a rear seat set up if you decided you wanted to change back to having rear seats.
I have a clean washington state title in hand. This is a much more reliable option than a westfalia, synco westfalia, townace, hiace, or other camper van options, and it 100% has more of a wow factor driving down the road or stopping anywhere.
