$3,000 – Kingston, TN:

“This is a very rare E39 M-Sport Touring Wagon. You just don’t see many of these running around. It is full neat features. Take for example the dual function cargo cover. If you have medium or large pets, you can raise the netting and keep them nice and cool in the back of the car behind the rear seat. Or let’s say you have a large custom ported sub-box that you want to keep out of the sun light or keep out of thieves eyes, then you can pull the cargo cover over it to keep it hidden and protected. Or you can completely remove the cargo cover and lay the back seats down if you need to carry a lot of gear around for a weekend get away. It also has DUAL climate control for the driver and passenger and the HEAT and A/C work perfectly. All 4 window regulators have been replaced and work perfectly. It has a JVC touch screen stereo deck with CD/DVD/SAT/Navigation & Bluetooth. The wheels are custom painted Murcialego Grey 17 inch BBS style 5s and includes a full-size Style 5 spare in the trunk space. All the tires are 245/45/17 Continental DWS with lots of tread.

The Wagon has been lowered on FK coilovers. It has the factory installed rear self-leveling air system with rear links. I currently have the air suspension disconnected because of a fault. The air pump works fine and there’s no leaks in the air lines. I think one of the sensors have either gone bad or has fallen out of place. When connected, it wants to automatically jack up the rear of the car. So, I had it disconnected until I had time to work on it. The car still rides fine as is without the air suspension. It just bounces a little in the rear when you go over large bumps or dips in the road. Otherwise, when the air suspension is working the car rides wonderfully smooth and tight (M-sport suspension tuning).

The only reason I am selling my beloved Wagon is because my wife has become seriously ill and lost her job a few months ago. I never had any intentions of ever selling my Wagon but, life has changed all that. With that being said, please don’t ask me why I am selling my Wagon. I have owned this Wagon for almost 4 years and it’s a real joy to drive. Never the less, going from a 2 income household down to just me working has caused me to try and work a lot of over time. This in turn, gives me little time to fix the small items that need attention on the Wagon. The Wagon runs and drives just fine as is. However; as mentioned earlier, the rear air suspension is disconnected which gives it the super low stance. And the ABS unit has gone out, but the breaks still work perfectly as is. Because of these two items not functioning properly, there are warning lights on the dash. One for the air suspension and one for the ABS unit.

I have tons of service records whereas I have invested $10,000 in repairs on the Wagon (mostly completed by European Auto Garage in Knoxville). Regular full synthetic oil changes and tire rotations. My service records will go with the new owner. This Wagon is not a piece of junk but, it is 18 years old and it will come the necessary repairs I mentioned earlier and other minor issues due to it’s age. That is why I am only asking $3000. Also, the wagon does not come with the sub and enclosure but, if you are interested in purchasing the custom ported enclosure with an Orion amp and a JL Audio 10W7AE-3 sub-woofer, that will cost you an extra $500. If you are not familiar with this particular JL sub, then google it and you will see just how much the sub alone is worth not to mention a ported custom enclosure and Orion amp.
